This program is for loans from $2500 - $250,000 and will only be granted for buildings being used to house livestock (and including storage for associated tools, equipment, feed, hay, etc.)

The term of the loan can be from 5 – 7 years.

Interest rates vary from week to week; however, they generally range from about 7.6 - 8.35%.

Loans can be made at 100% of sales invoice; however, MidAtlantic Farm Credit will not finance shipping costs or electrical packages.

MidAtlantic Farm Credit will only provide financing to private individuals. This program is not designed for businesses or corporate entities.

The person(s) applying for the loan MUST own the property on which the building will be located.

All individuals holding title to the property MUST be included on the application / loan.

Rates will be guaranteed for 30 days from the date of an approved application.

In order to process your loan, proof of insurance is required. Please contact your home owner’s insurance holder and request that MidAtlantic Farm Credit be named as “loss payee and additional insured” for the structure you are financing.

In the event the structure is destroyed, MidAtlantic Farm Credit will be reimbursed for the building directly by the insurance company as long as there is an outstanding balance on the loan.
