I was wondering if Chickens should be allowed to venture out of their coop when it is quite cold and with snow on the ground. I live in New Hampshire and it does get extremely cold here during the winter, with lots of snow. I plan on having a large fenced area around my coop when I get one. I have a lot to learn; I want to have a few hardy chickens that will give us fresh eggs as well as being pets.
