Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue & Sancturary, a 501(c)(3) organization has been active since 1989 providing outstanding care to horses and ponies.
They operate a horse sanctuary for senior and special needs equines on Long Island, NY - among other things! Their website is bursting at the seams with information about their programs and activities aimed at helping horses and educating the public about horse welfare issues.
There are so many things going on at Amaryllis Farm and so much information on their site that it's plain to see these people truly care and work very hard to provide security, peace and full care to horses and ponies.
We urge everyone to visit their site! At the very leaset, educate yourself about the heroic efforts of this dedicated team on behalf of horses. If possible, follow our example and make a donation through their online Paypal link.

Horse World Expo 2012 Hard to believe it's time for Horse World Expo already! It seems like we were just there. 2011 went by much too fast!
As always, you'll find Horizon Structures in our usual spots at both the Maryland and Harrisburg shows.
This year a representative from Smucker's Energy will be joining us to speak with anyone wanting information about solar power for a barn, garage or home. Here's your opportunity to find out about government rebates, tax incentives and just how many of your electrical needs can be handed over to Mother Nature.
Who wouldn't love to have lights in the barn? Bringing in an electricial contractor and trenching for the wiring can be a real headache. That's IF you're lucky enough to have your barn reasonably close to a power source. We'll have a new solar light kit set up in our display barn.

WHAT'S NEW
Green Chickens! Keeping a few chickens in the backyard is such a "green" thing to do. And with spring just around the corner, grass and trees aren't the only things that will be "greening up." We've got something really exciting that will make your chickens "greener" than they already are...
 We're working hard to bring solar capabilities to our chicken-loving customers. Plans are in the works to have a solar-powered lighting system available for our coops and coop kits.
We also plan to add this package to our online store. So, if you've already got a coop, you can easily add this lighting package.

We Move Buildings Most folks just think of Horizon Structures as a source for a new barn, garage or shed but did you know we're a service company, too?
Part of what makes our structures unique is that they're portable. That's great if you've got equipment to move them. But, what if you don't? Or, what if you see someone with a used building building for sale? It's not an item you can pick up and carry home from the store! Most wouldn't even consider a buying someone's used structure because they have no clue who to contact to help them get it home.
We move buildings all the time and it's not as complicated or expensive as you'd think. Give us a call and ask for Dave. He'll give you a price quote right over the phone. |
