SNOW!?!
To all those who live on the east coast, we hope you survived the recent snow storm intact and that you’ve all got your electricity back on! I’m sure your horses were as surprised as you were to see it snowing so early in the year. My horse, Pete, prefers to be outside year round. But, on a day like the Saturday snowstorm, when it’s especially cold and wet, I like to bring him into the barn. He almost didn’t make it in for this storm, though. He and his two pasture buddies were too happy jumping around and acting all goofy in the newly falling snow. The guy who usually meets me at the gate was staying just out of reach while happily slogging through the mud with his pals. I told him I wasn’t going to stand out there waiting for him all day – Come in NOW or spend the night huddling in the run-in shed! Luckily, just before I got soaked to the bone, Pete decided the barn sounded like a pretty good idea and allowed himself to be led inside to a nice thick bed of shavings and a waiting pile of hay. Let’s hope that’s the last of the crazy weather and we can all go back to enjoying a nice L-O-N-G fall!

Equine Affaire

West Springfield, Mass
November 10-13, 2011
As you can imagine, Equine Affaire is on all our minds here at Horizon Structures. We’ve started building the two show barns we’re setting up at the event and we expect they’ll be hitting the road on Tuesday. Matt and Brad will be right behind with the catalogs, price lists and Christmas lights! Be sure to stop by either of our booths and say “Hi” to the guys. Keep them busy and keep their pencils sharp! We want them to stay out of trouble up there.

We also have some fantastic show specials (read: knocking off thousands) on barns similar to these...
As with every other year, there’re some great deals to be made. The special show pricing is limited through 11/14 but a deposit now will hold off delivery until June if you need to. As always, you don’t have to attend the show, just make your best deal and put down a deposit during the show dates. Learn more here.
