Compact
and neat on the outside. All the room you could ever
need and more on the inside.
The Welsh is an excellent choice for those wanting a
completely contained barn for 2 horses.
Shown here with a loft, gambrel roof and 8' overhang.
These upgrades maximize your space for storage and horses. |
|
This stock model is built to showcase some eye-catching
extras. The stone veneer is the perfect accent to
the (cedar stained) pine board and batten siding.
You could also opt for the Duratemp wood siding. Select
paint, trim and shingles to match existing outbuildings
on your property. Click

It all adds up to plenty of light and fresh air. Having
access to your horses both inside and outside the
barn is a STANDARD feature every horse owner can appreciate.

|
As you can see, this loft is especially large. That's
because we upgraded to the gambrel / barn style roof.
We added a trap door so you can drop your hay down
into the aisle. . No more up and down those stairs!
The standard roof line, if you want a loft on this
barn, is the Gambrel. However, The Welsh can also
be built as a single-story barn with a single peak
A-Frame style roof.

Just
like all the other Back Yard Barns, each stall comes
with a window (with bars inside the stall), 4' high
solid oak kick board, sliding (interior) stall door
AND an (exterior) Dutch door.
Note the attractive pine tongue & grove paneling
inside the barn...
Store tack, tools or a few bags of shavings under the
stairs.

|
Each stall in
our Back Yard Barn Series barns includes an exterior Dutch
stall door and a window as shown here.
Upper level hayloft includes a window on one end and a
hay door on the other.
An overhang can easily be added to the front or back of
the barn creating a sheltered spot for your horses without
having them in the stalls. |
