Tractor Chicken Coops
The Tractor coops comes from the idea that chickens will peck and fertilize the ground wherever the coop is moved to, just as a tractor would till soil.
Moving your coop to different spots often produces several benefits, like fresh grass and bugs for your chickens to enjoy daily. Your grass will also be much healthier and fuller due to the natural fertilization around your yard, and moving your coop can reduce the change of overgrazing or a buildup of droppings in one area.
With the built on chicken run, you can be assured your chickens will be kept safe at night and safe from predators.

Take a Look Inside our Chicken Coop...
Wooden roosting bars are included with all coops. The Tractor coops come standard with 2 roosting bars.
Epoxy or Polyurea floor upgrades makes cleaning your coop a breeze. Standard flooring is durable, 5/8″ pressure treated plywood.
Each nest box is approximately 1×1′. The 1×3″ framing in front keeps nesting materials (as well as eggs or chickens) in the box.
The hinged drop panel, on the back of the coop, can be left open to increase fresh air and natural light inside the coop. The vinyl-coated mesh covering the opening ensures predators won’t get in and chickens won’t get out.
Add Wheels to your coop!
Moving your chicken coop house just got easier! Here you can see the Tractor Chicken Coop with wheels to make it portable.
Wheels are a standard feature of the Tractor coop, so no need to think about adding wheels. The wheelbarrow handles are used to lift this coop slightly and push, so the wheels create movement. These coops are small enough that there’s is no risk of hurting yourself in the process of moving your coop.
Simply turn the turn the level on the side of the coop area to lift the coops wheels off of the ground. This will provide your chickens more space to move around in the run area, without the tires sitting in the way.
Here is a close up of the tires and the coop area’s lever to move the tires off of the ground. See a close up of the tire.
Chicken Coop Exterior Features
The built on chicken run comes in handy when you want your chickens to graze, but stay safe from other predators and wandering too far from your land. This chicken run is covered in wire mesh to keep your chickens safely inside and keep unwanted predators out. The chicken also holds the tractor coops wheels, with the ability to raise them to give your chickens more room to graze.
The wheelbarrow handles are attached to the chicken run, so you can lift and push/pull your coop to your desired location. These handles make it much easier to manuever your coop rather than pulling with a ATV or mower, like other coop styles. It’s small size makes it easy to lift and move to different locations on your land.
Each Tractor coop comes with one 12″x18″ window, located right below the roof. This gives your chickens natural light, which helps them lay eggs consistently. This window also can provide ventilation, keeping a regulated temperature, and gives your chickens some visibility to the outside world without entering the run.
Pressure treated wood legs and base keep our large chicken coop elevated. This provides a shady spot for the hens as well as keeping the inside of the chicken coop houses dry and cooler in summer. Being raised off the ground may even deter some predators.
