It certainly has been a while since we have posted a new blog for all of our followers but when an opportunity arises to post such a great short story and pictures from a customer we can’t resist posting. We hope you enjoy our Florida customer’s new coop and pictures of his girls.Today was my first official complete coop cleaning. The clean out panel under the roost area makes for lazy daily chicken upkeep. But after 1 week, it was time to clean out all the pine shavings and nest boxes. The whole job took about 5 minutes! The girls (Sugar and Spice) supervised the entire process and bitched about it the whole time. Being about 4 weeks old, I thought they were a bit over the top. Anyway, the clean up was easy and quick! I added a power strip to the wiring you guys did. I put my heat light on a sun rise and sun set timer. Kinda cool – it adjusts it’s time every day. Also installed two porch lights INSIDE the coop with 15 watt bulbs that are set to be on from 7 am till 8 pm. The big run and the under the coop run make for 2 happy little chicks! |
