Now that Silva and I are in our new training facility
in Cochranville, PA, we had to come up with quality,
safe, and economical barn structures to house  our
horses. After doing hours and hours of research, the
absolute best option was to get Horizon Structures,
the Amish-oriented construction company, to build our
stable block...
...I urge anyone out there in the equestrian community
who needs quality, affordable structures for their horses'
shelter, be it a barn or a run in shed, to get in touch

Just wanted to thank you for our new barn and shed. They were
delivered Dec. 13 by Chris who is a master with that Mule. The
barn was a challenge to get into place down a hill and around
a corner but he did an excellent job. My shed was much easier
to just set in place. Thank you for prompt service, a driver
who actually listens to your concerns and ease of all transactions.

Just a short note to let you know how excited we are with
our new barn. Your driver, Ike, was incredibly skilled at
moving this large structure off the flatbed and down our long
driveway and up onto the concrete footings. He arrive at 7:30
pm and did this all in the dark! He kept asking if it was
positioned exactly where we wanted it. He wanted our satisfaction
level to be 100%
Every time I look at this barn I appreciate the quality of
the workmanship and the construction details that made this
such a memorable and reasonably priced purchase.
My wife Debbie and I look out the window each morning to see
her horse patiently waiting beside the barn for breakfast.
We are so pleased that we no long board her horse down the

Jill,
Daniel, Tim and Nat, I believe that was their names, were absolutely
incredible. They snapped this coop together for me in under
4 hours on Saturday afternoon, October 22nd. And, I was able
to point it back to Plymouth, NC by 4 p.m. and arrive there
at midnight. Please convey my sincere appreciation to the three
of them.
Would I do it again? Absolutely! Being permitted to assist
with the work and working with the Amish was incredible. The
coop is a flipping work of art! I am 63 years old and not
much amazes me these days. Even the food at the Dutch Restaurant
was outstanding. It was all well worth the "road burn."
And, yes, you can use me for an endorsement of the quality
of your workmanship. In the near future, I am going to need
a goat barn and you already know who is going to build it
for me. I will bring a larger trailer next time.

Hi Matt,
Your crew just left. They did a great job and it looks spectacular...
Will, the truck driver, worked his tail off to the point
of exhaustion setting the building on the pad. Many unforeseen
things caused problems but we finally did it. It took 8 hours.
Whatever he's being paid it's not enough.
Both Will and the work crew are some of the nicest most personable
people I have ever met. Very professional hard workers...

I am very pleased with the new "Thoroughbred Barn"
I have just had installed by Horizon Structures. Before
I started this journey, I had to convince my husband that
it was easier and more cost effective to buy a structure
vs. him (being a weekend warrior) building one himself.
So, once we agreed on outsourcing, I called/emailed several
of the large Barn Companies (Horizon included), and after
a couple weeks of base quotes my husband and I decided
to drive down to see Dave and Matt at Horizon. Let me
tell you, since that day we shook hands and started the
process, I have never looked back, questioned why I did
this, or regretted going with them! Dave and Matt will
tell you, they are not the cheapest, and I can testify
that the slight difference in pricing is worth the BEST
customer service I have ever received. I am proud to say
that at any time someone is in doubt and need a reference
they are welcome to come see the beautiful barn full of
quality workmanship that Horizon has built for me. You
will not regret your purchase ever if you stick with the
best!!!

is not a tree left....My neighbors house is completely leveled.....
Trying to be positive and somewhat upbeat......You could

The barn is awesome! See for yourself!
It looks so quaint setting at the end of our field, right
down to the little black shutters. All of our neighbors
came over to watch your crew unload and complete the construction
at the site and couldn't get over the workmanship.

Dear Brad,
I can't tell you how happy Bill and I are with our new
garage. It is everything your brochure
displayed. Quite frankly, it took a leap of faith, since
everything was done over the phone and internet, to enter
into this transaction but I couldn't be more satisfied.
Most of all, we couldn't be more impressed with the young
men who erected this structure. They arrived at our home
at 6:30am and didn't leave until 7pm. Those fellows didnt't
pick their heads up but twice all day. We are not used

It came just in the nick of time too. We had some real
pretty days leading up the delivery day and then the bottom
fell out! We had record breaking snow this year and the
wind has just been crazy! The old barn I used to use is
almost all on the ground now because of the wind, when
we are ready for another barn we will be calling again.
We do have some folks that are very interested in checking
out your website, I give the information out to everybody

Greetings from Still Waters Farm where my new chicken
coop was delivered today. I'm very impressed with
the workmanship and thoroughness of your design. Every little
thing was thought of!
We have a very small farm and have always fixed up, built
ourselves or modified, so this was not only a big financial
venture but outside the usual way of doing things. I want
you to know I feel good about having bought 'store made'!
And your people on the phone were very nice, too and treated
me like it was an important sale.
The driver, Wilmer Yoder, was a wonder. I've never seen
anyone handle equipment like he did, putting the coop just
where I wanted it, with a shed, trees and a fence nearby.

in shed...should have had it leveled but I was
thick headed and thought I could live with it being slightly
off...couldnt...now its leveled and it has worked out well...you

I am loving my 5x6 chicken coop..so are
the girls..it's really a great size. I have 9 chickens (something
got one I had 10) and it's perfect for them to be in at
night....wouldn't keep them inthere 24/7 but if they free
range it's really great. Plus the fact it has wheels and
electric..sweet.

The barn is BEAUTIFUL. I will never have

paint job, every door slides like a dream. i don't have

answered all my questions, and sent plan after plan until
we finally decided on this one, to Glen who delivered the
barn, and worked like crazy to get the barn on
the footers. our crew of Daniel, Henry, Manny and Merv who
pulled it all together! They should be commended on their
excellent workmanship and terrific customer service! I can
now sit on my deck with my coffee and watch my horses in
their beautiful new home. My life is complete!

I have had your barn for a little over a year now. I CONTINUE
TO BE IMPRESSED BY THE HIGH QUALITY AND SUPERIOR WORKMANSHIP.
It has endured record breaking ice storms, hurricane(80
mph winds &never lost a single shingle!) ETC. We have
been declared a federal disaster area several times since
I got it. IT STILL LOOKS BRAND NEW(also despite the best
efforts of my TB filly to kick through it). The nice strong
oak side boards PROTECTED her valuable legs. Most importantly
it is a very safe barn. Please make sure
my email address above(new) is on your list as I may require
another structure and I like being aware of the show sales
etc. Thank you for standing on quality(like the oak boards)
and the doors that all fit so well and how it keeps my hay
so nice and dry etc. You should be proud of such nice QUALITY
barns-I know I am! PS- Thanks for the little extra things
too like the metal over the door bottoms to prevent cribbing.

Forget my high expectations, this turned out far better
than my wildest dreams. John David and his crew are so amazing.
They aren't just the hardest working bunch I've ever seen,
they are just great guys. The way they could toss and catch
tools and wood was incredible and it was fun watching them.
The building inspector was very impressed with the quality
of their work so I thought I'd pass that on too.
You did a great job on the interior. The layout is perfect.
I know you put a lot of time into it and I really appreciate
it.
Send me some business cards. I am sure I'll be able to
send some more work your way. For being at the end of a
dirt road, we got a lot of drive-by gawkers. It's funny
how word of mouth travels. One guy had seen the big tractor
trailer turn off the highway and told me he kept driving
around until he found were it went.

I had my shed delivered late
yesterday and when I got home from work last night I was
so pleased. From 10:00-12:30 last night my daughter and
I could not stay out of it. Your workmanship and construction
is the best. You can not believe how happy we are, including
my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren. Even though they are
coming back today to put on the siding and finish up the
rest of the shed, I had to let you know the shed
has exceeded my expectations. You will find it funny, but
the shed is bigger than my house, but the roof color matches
perfectly with the metal roof on my house. I have a friend
who is iinterested in getting a 2-car garage. I gave him

Hello!

We ordered the 4 x 6 board and batten coop
on Jan. 8 and it was here on Jan. 18! I was completely (pleasantly)surprised

and in particular the horse stall barns. I've been meaning
to respond for some time now but have not been able to do
so until now. As you know, we purchased a 4-stall
horse barn and 2-stall w/feed-tack room horse barn from
you last year and we have been absolutely thrilled with
both of them. i have enclosed a few photos showing the finished
product and set up and we truly could not have asked for
anything more. As your web site states, "you may not
be the cheapest, but you are not the most expensive",
and your overall quality and workmanship definitely speak
for themselves. We did a lot of research and shopping around
before purchasing our two buildings and we found ourselves

I recently purchased a 5x6 chicken coop
and ordered it off the phone. The person that I spoke with
several times was very polite and made great suggestions.
I was skeptical because my wife and I have not had good
luck ordering things off the phone or internet. The
chicken coop came on the day that it was promised
and the driver actually called my cell to let me know that
he had made delivery. Once again a surprise that was a good
surprise. When I arrived from out of town and found that
the chicken coop was sitting there waiting
for me to deliver the new occupants. As I look over the
construction of the coop, I was amazed
at what I had found. It was Great! I would like to thank

"(DAVE) My guys doing
a good job?
"They are doing very well in spite of the rain
we had all day yesterday. We were all soaked, but they
never complained. I actually had to convince Mark to
borrow something from me so he would stay drier.
They are very courteous and work very hard. They stayed
until about 7:00 pm last night.
They arrived this morning at 7:00 AM and are already
at work. The barn is looking good
and I am very pleased with their work ethic, their
manners and them as a whole. A great bunch of guys.

Day 2 - Morning
(DAVE) Its looking good, I

"I do too now that I see it all together..
They are shingling at the moment then tomorrow will
be touching up the paint and picking up debris and I
imagine packing it up to head home. I am amazed at how
fast it is coming together and how these guys work.
They really know what they are doing and work well as
a team.
I fed them yesterday and today, and keep the water,
coffee and food coming (Mark and Steve said I am the
best customer they ever had LOL). They may come back
a bit heavier! My pleasure to do, they are working hard
in the rain, drizzle, cooler temperatures; a hot cup
of coffee and a hot lunch is the least I can do.

Day 2 - Later in the Morning
"Morning!
The guys are leaving as I type. Manny did take some
pictures and I have plenty to send you once I upload
them all. My oldest daughter took a bunch yesterday
too. She was amazed at how the guys walked all over
the roof and never fell. I was amazed at the 12-hour
days they put in.
Another rainy day, so there was little they could do
as far as paint touch ups, so I can do that another
day.
I shall miss the crew not being here. It has been a
fun adventure and I became fond of these guys. Now I
have my barn and I love it. They did a fabulous job
bringing it all together.
Soon, my horses will be home and the girls will be out
of school next week for the summer (they LOVE the idea
of only going to school until 8th grade but I had to
remind them they aren't Amish and I don't home-school
them anymore!). But to not have to drive them every
day would be a treat....maybe I should home-school them
again....
I will send this along and then go sit and stare at

After my town gave the initial ok, I drove to Horizon Structures
on Dec. 29th '06 and place my order with Heide. The process
was explanatory, quick & easy. On Jan. 9th '07 our footings
were installed by Rock-a-Fellas Contracting. We were referred
to them by David Zook. We immediately liked the company &
owner/operator Bobby Kyle. He did the work in one day and
we felt the price was more then fair! We arranged for footing
inspection with our township. I called Horizon Structures
the next day and our garage was delivered and completely assembled
by Joe on January 17th, by one guy in one day! I called Horizon
Structures that evening and left a long & happy message on
their answering machine. I felt compelled to write this testimonial
because, not only is the garage a work of true craftsmanship,
